You think Napoleon should advance against the Austrians and Russians. He might indeed defeat them separately before they can reach the French frontier, though this would mean his crossing the Rhine and invading the South German states. Meanwhile there would be nothing to prevent Wellington and Blücher from marching on Paris and setting Louis XVIII on the throne again.

Napoleon does not do this, so return to 1 and think again
